The Company
The Europ Assistance Group is one of the world’s largest providers of assistance services in the travel, automobile, health, home and family sectors, with banks, insurers and credit card companies, among others, as its main clients. It is present in 34 countries, through 275 offices, totaling more than 150 million individuals covered by its services. The desire to expand its activities to Brazil led Europ to seek a partnership with a 100% national company, in order to understand the Brazilian market. The partnership was made with the Icatu Group, from which Worldwide Assistance – Serviços de Assistência Personalizados S.A. (WWA) was born.

The desire of the board of directors was that the new office in Brazil, which should have approximately 2,200 m2, would be in São Paulo, preferably in the ABC region, since the region offers tax incentives. But after a preliminary analysis they realized a lack of options in this region, and decided to rely on the assistance of a specialized firm for corporate representation, and to solve this problem with speed and efficiency.
Ocupantes began work quickly, immediately providing a survey of the ABC region. The result was that none of the available options fully attended the company’s expectations. Ocupantes therefore suggested the Barueri region, which had the same tax incentives. Following approval by WWA, Ocupantes prepared complete research reports and financial analyses of this new region, and pointed out the best options. Once the building was chosen, the West Side Building, in Alphaville, Ocupantes began negotiations, obtaining in the end very good conditions that met the client’s requirements.
The preparation of reports in the ABC and Barueri regions were fundamental for the change of region and choice of building. Ocupantes’ support was complete, addressing technical, contractual and documental issues, leaving WWA’s management more at ease to make their decisions.
