The history of Melitta, founded in 1908 in the German city of Dresden, is marked by innovation and global expansion. Present in more than 60 countries, the German company arrived in Brazil in 1968, making it its second main market. In 2012, with the advice of Ocupantes, Melitta opened its new headquarters in São Paulo, in the prestigious Morumbi Corporate Towers development.

Melitta’s decision to choose Morumbi Corporate Towers to establish its headquarters reflects the search for excellence and prestige in the São Paulo corporate scene. However, after almost three years, the company realized the need to review its lease contract amid changes in the real estate market.

    Efficient solutions

Faced with the challenging scenario, Melitta turned to Ocupantes. The partnership began with the commissioning of a detailed study that aimed to find the best solution for Melitta’s occupancy plan.

Our team, through the preparation of a meticulous review report, thoroughly analyzed Melitta’s contract. This document served as the basis for direct negotiation with the owners of Morumbi Corporate Towers.

Our difference was revealed in direct negotiation with owners, resulting in a significant reduction in the rental value. For Melitta, this achievement translated into substantial savings of R$1 million over the next three years of leasing.
