NYK Logistics and MegaCarrier is one of the global leaders in providing integrated global logistics services, always striving to meet the needs of its clients with excellence. With over 33,000 employees worldwide and a presence in all major markets, NYK has been expanding its customer base in Brazil.
With a growing customer base, the need arose for NYK Logistics and MegaCarrier to expand its workforce and physical space to meet the demands of its business unit in Brazil. Limited to just one floor of 800 m² in the Top Center Building on Avenida Paulista, NYK needed to quickly explore possibilities for expansion within the building itself and in other Class A buildings in the vicinity.
NYK relied on the assistance of Ocupantes to identify suitable office spaces that met the company’s needs in the Avenida Paulista region. Through a detailed market research process, three buildings were selected and analyzed from both a financial and technical/architectural perspective.
Understanding that Ocupantes’ core business is precisely to provide real estate solutions for end users, NYK benefited from Ocupantes’ knowledge and expertise in providing relevant information of high quality. This facilitated NYK’s decision-making process aligned with the corporation’s objectives and significantly reduced the time required for the real estate transaction in this expansion project.
