The Company
Telemar (OI) is, in Brazil, the largest telecommunications company in billing and in the number of installed telephones, serving about 30 million customers in the regions where it operates.

Due to the diversity of its occupation (offices, technical areas, etc.), the contract portfolio is huge and quite heterogeneous. Telemar selected the contracts that had the greatest financial weight and sought ways to reduce their respective costs. Ocupantes undertook the review/renewal of these contracts, considering three delicate points: the booming real estate market, the need to preserve Telemar’s relationship with the owners and the review of values outside the period established in the contract, the latter being the most important. The Ocupantes team conducted the negotiations with seriousness, presenting consistent data from the real estate market, and, in the end, obtained discounts or cancellation of readjustments for all the contracts involved.
The professionalism of Ocupantes enabled Telemar to maintain its good relationship with the owners, and also generated savings that together reached approximately R$ 2 million, for the period covered by the contracts involved.
