    As the date for renewing its lease contract approached, PwC knew that it would need the advice of a company specialized in real estate transactions in trust, to understand what options were available, whether for leasing in another building, or even guidance on a possible contractual renewal on the floors of the same space, the Água Branca Business Center, where they already occupied a little over 17,000 m2.

    Ocupantes’ job was to carry out a complete survey of all the alternatives available in the city that could meet PwC’s expectations. At the same time, Ocupantes carried out a complete survey of relevant statistics on inventory, vacancy, construction, demand and transactions in commercial properties in the Barra Funda region and surroundings, with the aim of determining the market value of leases in this region.

    This work enabled PwC to better understand all the occupancy options in the corporate market in São Paulo. In the end, considering all the evaluations carried out, it was decided that the best option would be to remain in the same building, changing only two floors, at the top of the building, for two lower ones, since this change pointed to an increase in the efficiency of occupation. Once this decision was taken, Ocupantes assisted PwC in the contract renewal process, obtaining a more efficient occupancy and excellent commercial conditions.
