Bio-Rad Laboratories, a world-leading company in the design, manufacture and distribution of innovative tools for life sciences research and clinical diagnostics, had a remarkable journey when it needed to find a new home for its operations in São Paulo. With more than 7,750 employees worldwide, Bio-Rad is known for its dedication to advancing scientific research and developing innovative technologies.
Bio-Rad Laboratories faced an imminent challenge when the owner of their location, an old house on Av. Rebouças, asked them to vacate the space. The pressure was intense, with the threat of eviction hanging over the company, which needed to continue its operations without interruption.
It was in this urgent context that the company relied on the services offered by our Ocupantes team. With several visits to buildings in São Paulo, we achieved a notable achievement by obtaining approval from the United States to close a deal on the Morumbi Corporate Golden Tower. This strategic choice took into consideration not only the quality of the building, but also the privileged location for Bio-Rad Laboratories’ operations.
As the deadline to vacate the former Bio-Rad property expired, we played a crucial role in representing the company during the transition. To avoid interruptions in operations, we brokered the rental of rooms at Regus, providing temporary space for Bio-Rad while works were carried out at the new location.
