Ecolab, a global leader in high-quality hygiene, food safety and health protection products and services with $6 billion in global sales, sought to expand its horizons. With the acquisition of two companies specialized in the oil industry, the need for a new space to house the two offices became imperative.
We at Ocupantes were the natural choice to assist Ecolab in this endeavor. Starting with extensive research in the promising Barra da Tijuca, we visited several properties, identifying three options that stood out as potential candidates to house Ecolab’s offices.

Ocupantes’ strategic choice
After a thorough evaluation of the options presented, Ecolab chose to close the negotiation at Condomínio Empresarial Mario Henrique Simonsen. With 738 m² of carefully planned space, this building became the ideal home for the recently acquired offices, offering all the necessary infrastructure in Barra da Tijuca, a region carefully selected by the client.
The complexity of Ecolab’s decisions required skillful negotiation on the part of our team, who strived to guarantee Ecolab the time necessary for approvals and the owner the confidence required so that other companies, interested in the same space, did not obtain preference of the lease. This process reinforces the importance of the partnership between the two companies, which worked together to achieve the success of this strategic location.
