Daiichi Sankyo, founded in 2005 after the merger of Sankyo Co., Ltd. and Daiichi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., is a Japanese pharmaceutical company with a century-old history. In 2006, Daiichi Sankyo Brasil Farmacêutica Ltda. was founded, which became a hub for exporting products throughout Latin America.
Expansion and the need for a strategic location
With the need to expand its operations, Daiichi Sankyo Brasil was faced with the challenge of finding new office space. The location was critical, as the company was looking for a class A building in an area with easy access to public transportation.
Ocupantes took action, carrying out a careful search for options that met Daiichi Sankyo’s requirements. More than 30 buildings were evaluated, and numerous visits were carried out. The Ocupantes team led an intensive negotiation process with the representatives, and after more than 10 months of hard work, Daiichi Sankyo signed a new lease contract in the CENU – Torre Norte building.
