Ocupantes played a crucial role in leading two negotiations on Twitter’s behalf, before the pandemic and the company’s name change.

Initially, Twitter occupied the 8th and 9th floors of the Praça Faria Lima Building, totaling 2,250 m2. Due to lack of space, Twitter sought out Ocupantes’ consultancy services to analyze the available options. In this process, we carried out comprehensive market research, exploring alternatives in other buildings in both the Nova Faria Lima and Vila Olímpia regions.

    Disclosure

Although the possibility of moving to a new address was considered, especially given Nova Faria Lima’s reputation as the most expensive region in São Paulo, Ocupantes identified an attractive solution: to remain and expand in the same building, as long as we could reduce the cost of rent on the current 8th and 9th floors. Not only was this strategy accepted, but it was also successfully implemented.

Upon learning of the availability of the 10th floor, Ocupantes led the negotiations to establish a new lease contract covering both floors, with a price per square meter lower than the current value. This approach resulted in significant savings, reducing Twitter’s rental costs by approximately 15%.
