Expeditors, a global logistics giant based in Seattle, Washington, found Ocupantes the ideal partner to expand its presence in Brazil. With more than 16,500 professionals in more than 320 locations around the world, Expeditors is known for its customized solutions and integrated information systems to meet the complex demands of international trade.

The need for a larger office close to Guarulhos Airport led Expeditors to look for alternatives in the same building. With limited supply, the solution found was to rent a larger area in the same property.

    Disclosure

During negotiations, the building owner proposed an amendment to the current lease agreement. However, we at Ocupantes realized that the current contract was dated and contained clauses that could be improved for the benefit of the client.

Based on this perception, it was decided to terminate the current contract and sign a new agreement with clauses more favorable to Expeditors. This decision not only provided an expanded area for the company in the Guarulhos Airport region, but also resulted in contractual terms more aligned with the client’s current needs.

    Disclosure

Ocupantes’ activities were not limited to representation in the rental of space. We played an important role in optimizing the contract, ensuring that the clauses reflected Expeditors’ expectations and interests. This partnership exemplifies the importance of specialized representation when negotiating corporate spaces, ensuring not only physical expansion, but also legal adaptation to modern demands.
