Expeditors is a giant in the logistics industry, headquartered in Seattle, Washington. The company employs more than 16,500 trained professionals, operating across a vast network of more than 320 locations across six continents. Expeditors stands out for offering personalized solutions and integrated information systems, meeting the complex needs of international trade.
With accelerated growth, Expeditors needed a larger office in Curitiba. In addition to increasing space, the company was looking for a work environment that reflected new post-pandemic demands:
- Rotating workstations
- Informal areas for networking between employees
- Modern collaborative spaces
In addition to these needs, the company wanted to minimize spending on adaptation works, opting for a space that already included several improvements.
Ocupantes’ solution
Ocupantes was hired to identify options that met Expeditors’ specifications. Our objective was to find a space that required low CAPEX for adaptations and, at the same time, offered flexibility in negotiations.
We look for furnished properties and those where the owners are willing to invest in adaptation works. Therefore, we ensured that Expeditors had several options available to choose the one that best suited your needs. We negotiated with the owners to obtain grace periods and discounts that offset the costs of the necessary adaptations. This way, we were able to significantly reduce Expeditors’ initial expenses.
After a detailed analysis of the options, Expeditors chose a space in the Mariano Torres 729 building. This property already had several improvements, which resulted in a low CAPEX for the adaptations. The 332.29 m² space was ideal to accommodate the company’s new demands.
